The KIJ team again visited SMP Negeri 3 Klaten in order to monitor the follow-up blockgrant for teachers. The event was packed with workshops where the KIJ team provided two materials on early prevention of radicalism and extremism seeds through multicultural education and media literacy. An important finding in this agenda is that sometimes teachers are still often inedible and even contribute to spreading the hoaxes they get through social media and online due to lack of literacy. One of the points from the material provided by KIJ was emphasizing how to easily detect hoaxes and hate speech. An example is news that starts with the word "sebarkan, viralkan, terkuak, terungkap" and equipped with lots of exclamation marks; (adm/18/12/18)
